My nephew manage to lose the two pieces of iron pyrite I had left and my flint supply has dwindled to nil.

I'm always on the lookout for pyrite but I've never found any in my area.

Is there anywhere I can buy flint and pyrite from or anyone on here willing to sell me some? Cheers

Yo Fifer,

I can let you have a piece of flint as big as a coo's knee if you'd like it?

My next door neighbour brought me some up from daaan saaaaaafffff when she was on her hols.

You can have it for free if you can collect it?

I have this problem myself, there is virtually nill flint near Edinburgh:(

Assuming you want it for a fire steel, you can use vein quartz. Which is very prominent in Scotland. You can find it on most beaches.usually occurs as white pebbles. Or you can see big white veins of it in exposed rock.

Cheers
