can some one give me a fishing net tutorial
because there is a lot of trout in the lake where camp

I might be wrong, but I reckon you need a license to net fish. Give me a minute, I'll see if I can find the regs.

Sorry to take so long getting back, The current legislation is under review. The best I can find for now is this. http://www.defra.gov.uk/corporate/consult/fisheries-netandtrap/letter.htm

It states clearly at the beginning that a license is required, but I can't find any reference on the Evironment Agency site.

The owner should have the necessary information, but please be careful and check with your local bailiff, just to be on the safe side.

i can make one but to catch trout, it would need to be what? 3m x 3m at least? and small gapped enough that the fish will actually be caught? thats a good weeks work there!
