Just an idea but if there`s interest it might be worth setting a date in late May/early June.
Camping at Glaisedale near Whitby, small farm, no fires but BBQ`s OK. showers on site but not much else. open barn for BBQ if weather bad.
Fishing for trout Castleton/Danby; 7ml of the Esk river, stocked in May & August, fly/worm only. sea trout/greyling/salmon,brown & rainbow + eels. it`s £15.00 for season ticket + your rod licence, camping was £6.00pp last year but would need to check for this years prices.
anyone feel like trying out the cheapo Aldi fishing gear? lol.
