I had a wander over the top of Coed Beddick this morning in a not altogether pleasant wind and under a dull sky, thinking yet again about how lata everything is. Chose a place to make a brew and feed myself and the dog, looked up to see 1 single, lonely bluebell flower in the middle of this sea of green and brown....................Needless to say, the day took on an entirely different complexion after that....................the only spoiler was NO CAMERA!

I've not had a bluebell yet, but the cowslips are appearing in numbers now, and I'm awaiting my first early purple orchid.
