This sort of thing fascinates me. That people could have seaweed collected 90km away implies to that there was trade going on, just as there was with stone tools here. It suggests a high level of knowledge of the local plants and their uses.

Well of course there was trade. Foraging bands are usually of necessity long ranging and would meet up quite often, I would suspect.
