Nice one. No shortage of puff here but wondered if it would shift enough air for a small forge? For 7 squid it's worth a shot

I've got the same thing but it's called an Air Grill, it's strong enough to get the fire going from 6ft away so no need to get up out of your chair

After the mickey taking had finished on the last trip a couple of the lads thought it might actually be pretty good for a field forge

When I lived on Cyprus it tickled me to see guys in the kebob shop using hair dryers on the charcoal BBQ's lol.

I'm getting one for the woodburner, as you say, only a few quid so worth a punt. Problem with that site is that amongst all the tut and tat I always spot something that takes me fancy and I end up spending more

Well spotted - that's a nice find. I've seen similar things before for upwards of 20 quid, which seemed a bit rich for what amounts to a fan on a handle, but for seven quid it's worth a punt.

I've got one and paid through the nose!

It's good and turns your fire into a furnace but the handle is small and flimsy and could easily break off in your pack or wannigan. Then it's useless. You also get comments like "brought your hair dryer have you?"

I've reverted to using a closed cell sitmat wafter for camping, but the airgrill still does a good job beside our open fire at home.

We had a whole load of foldout frisbees at work, for some promotion or another. Basically just a small circle of cloth with a wire circle surround.
They've requested the link be removed because google have issue

Easily fits in a pocket and found it really good for wafting a fire...
