Finding a room to rent in Skipton - where to start looking?

Possibly a bit random for the forum but I need to find a room to rent in Skipton and don't really know where to start. Any advice?

I don't suppose anyone has a spare or room they rent out (or know of anyone who does)? pm me if you do.

I was more after 'local knowledge' - if anyone knows when the local paper is out or if they've noticed any notice boards in shops in the town, or indeed, have a room
