The woodsman Knife is made from 4mm blade stock and is therefore heavier and stronger the the other models. It retains the full tang construction of the rest of the knives with a longer handle that is made to suit larger hands. Like the other models it is supplied in a hand stitched, oak tanned leather, pouch style scabbard. The drop point blade and Scandinavian flat grind make this an ideal knife for field use but it is a useful sized knife for carving projects.

Is the bison bushcraft knife scandi or convex grind it looks convex but you describe it as both?

Hi Andy, The description is taken from the Bison web site, the standard version is scandi ground , this is the convex version which costs £30 more.
