Apologies if this is the wrong forum, I'm thinking aloud- feel free to comment or move it to correct forum

Today I dug out the lighter section of our camping gear, mostly cheap clones as festival work- the good stuff used to walk.

The highlander clone msr rocket gas burner and clone tangia kettle-both in working condition (remember next to no space and great for boiling water, lots harder to not burn soups) we used these for road closure Tea and Coffee as stewards.

Eydon Kettle 25+ years old and has seen us through power cuts and picnics where 1.4ltr hot water wanted- camping and van camping at festivals.

What I believe is a tangia 25 clone, has spirit burner, missing the pot support or round grill in this case- need to fashion one. Oddly has gas flexible part- burner missing.
Tangia burner clone £9.99 or complete set £14.99 Ali express. pots used so far.
Might be worth making a stand- are these still relevant with meths or gas burner?

I've a popping Eydon Kettle and accessories on route, think this is more my day out no fuel or gas leaking hot drink and snack tool.

I know some places no BBQs, fires in North Somerset, but is a stove under same ban depending on fuel?- bearing in mind the bylaws and actually getting caught highly unlikely.
I've also never found bare dirt or rock flammable and wouldn't leave a trace.

I think you'll get a different answer depending on who you talk to on the day.

A self contained stove like that is not an open fire or a barbecue though. So personally I'd go ahead and use it, just using a bit of common sense.

Personally I'm perfectly happy using a self contained twig stove as long as there's somewhere safe to use it, ie not on a big stack of dry pine needles during the summer. And when it's not gusting with wind.
