The article seems to be dressed up as a green issue when in fact its a straight forward planning one. Sad but they have made a self sufficient smallholding on agricultural land with no planning permission.

It really annoys me when people run to the papers over this kind of issue. A planning department doing their job and acting legally within their guidelines being demonised once again. It is nice that they managed to resolve this with a legal planning approval in the end though.
