Personally I like to see my trees unadorned - but I am an old "grumpy".
If Fairies want a door let the lazy so-and-sos build their own!

The old Nobel dynamite factory on a beautiful part of the Cote Vermeille on the Mediterranean coast of France was saved from commercial exploitation by an enlightened regional authority and turned into a people's park. Among the many great initiatives was the incising of images and names of wild plants to be found in the vicinity into the concrete of the paths. It is heartening to see groups of school children checking off what they find.
