Eydon Model DS Storm Kettle

Hi Folks

Just wondering if anyone has rated/reviewed the Eydon Storm Kettle and how it compares to the other brands? Does anyone know if the fabric handle is any use or does it get cremated when you fire the Kettle up?

Just looked at the construction diagram and it’s no different from the others. I presume that it will function in exactly the same way.
I couldn’t find anything on their site about the metal they use and I’m left to presume it’s aluminium - light weight but very unforgiving if the kettle boils dry. Stainless steel isn’t much better but it gives you a few more minutes.
