Brilliant! I'll hang my head in shame at the tit boxes I made with my 11 year old daughter. That said: One was investigated within half an hour, the other, an hour. Wonder how long it would take to buck up the courage to move into one of these?

I don't know how it would work for our wee birds, but if made with an eye for habitats for overwintering insects, it might be interesting.

Spadgers would love it - social wee critters (never liked them as a result )
