Every (rain) cloud has a silver lining... (pic heavy)

Went out for a walk yesterday. One of my favourite fishing swims was under about a foot of water. Never seen this in many years, even in winter.

Further on, another submerged swim was being used by tons of little silver fry as the perfect nursery spot, which was nice to see

Many very wet fields around here waiting for harvest. Farmers must be getting edgy about a break to get all this crop in and the dryers will be going flat out this year I expect.

Mature gravel pit. Small club water. Lightly fished. Should be into dreamy warm evenings there right now after superb tench. Not to be this year it seems
