Erik Frost (Childs?) Mora identification

This weekend I bought a small secondhand Erik Frost Mora knife at our local carboot sale.

I liked this small mora knife and intended purchasing it for my youngest daughter. I noticed it is a Erik Frost Mora made in Sweden. Wanting to purchase it at the lowest price possible I managed to haggle (I good faith) the seller down from £4 to £3. Having sharpened it now, I'm very pleased with the quality of the steel.
However I’m having difficulty identifying it’s age and history. Having trawled through various old Frost catalogs and internet searches. I’m hoping you guys may know more about it.

It is a 'hunting knife' model.

If you google 'Erik Frost Jakt knivar ' in Images you will find several knives looking yours, with various length of the blade.

I believe its a small frosts mora 'skarpa' = which simply translate to 'sharp'

probably from the 1930's-1940's and a very popular tourist export model

Not sure if it was meant to be a child's knife - I think it was considered more a whittler/pocket knife

childs knives tended to have guards to protect the users hands

I suspect the spelling is ‘skärpa’ which means ’sharpness’
Or in a sentence like ’Frosts skarpa kniv’ which is translated Frosts sharp knife. Not a name.
They did not give names to knives in those days, not like today. Model number only.
In the picture I posted, it basically says, translated: Frosts stainless hunting knife no 1154.

I don’t think it’s the Frost 1154 as it doesn’t have a fuller.

However the seller states the blade length to be about 4 inches in length and the overall knife length to be just under 8 inches long.
My knife blade is under 2 1/2 inches long, and 4 7/8 inches total knife length.

No, not that model, I just wanted to show you a similar one of the same design family.
As said, it could be a version for youth.

Some cautious parents bought the 'first knife' for their 5-6 year old offspring, that had a finger guard, others did buy one without one.
My dad bought me one without. I gave my son his first knife, a nice large size Victorinox, when he was 7. No finger guard obviously.


Fingerguards are a pain when you earn how to use a knife.

I sent them a email today requesting help with identification. I put the blade under magnification this morning. Found the faint word ROSTFRI. Down one side of the blade.

Stainless in Swedish.

The metal piece at the end of the handle, towards the blade, most were made from nickel plated brass.
Yours seem to be heavily tarnished, so could be unplated brass?
