If I were to get a new knife it would be a trapper, they look so much nicer than all those woody clones.

My recently finished Trapper, I'm very pleased with the way it looks, feels and handles.

I don't have any experience with the Fisher but went with the Trapper in 01 steel after a lot of thought and research.

bloody fine blades, the ultimate colaboration between the woodlore style and the puukko style knife, add superiour steel, grinds and heat treatment and you have one pretty awsome knife.

It depends on which option you take as to how easy it is to make.

Are you just buying a blank and scale etc or are you buying a kit?

A kit can make it very easy.
