I wonder if anyone has acquired Endicotts' Danish army wool trousers and if so, how do you you find them?

I understand they are a medium weight wool, but does the material have a nap or is it more like dress uniform wool?

Also, how high is the waist? Is the cut tight fitting or roomy?

Thanks in anticipation

Notwithstanding the standard 'itchy' problem, these are GREAT! I'm a 33 inch waist and these are a 34 - spot on for a good fit, whilst also able to accommodate a big dinner. Ordered my usual length - also spot on. Medium weight dark grey wool and probably smart enough for dress trousers, but will look quite at home in the field after the crease washes out. Belt loops are the extra wide 'tunnel' type which makes for good durability and helps prevent 'scrunching' when worn with a belt. Button fly...fiddly but also durable and easily fixable if a button pops off. Generous cut with good deep hip pockets. As mentioned, only problem is they would probably be intolerably itchy without long johns, but for chilly to cold weather (anyone unfamiliar with that?), ACE! No connection to Endy's other than a very satisfied customer.
