Endrick water to Inchconnachan (pic heavy)

Just back from a trip out to Inchconnachan Island in Loch Lomond with my brother in law and some friends from Germany.






We started of near Drymen at the Endrick water, it meanders down slowly to Balmaha on Loch Lomond...




We camped on the south side of Inchconnachan, never saw any wallabies this time, but saw the white deer that are there now.



We took a couple of bags of wood with us, there were a few bits of driftwood around that eked out the supply for cooking and boiling water..

The island was pretty clean compared to some years..



visited the ruins of the sawmill and the boathouse..





island hopping the next day...





Back to Balmaha and coffee and soup at the Oak Tree Inn...

Edinburgh is warm with lots of sunbathing going on, at the weekend, we had spots of rain at Loch Lomond, sunshine mostly... warm at night if you kept out the wind. I used a bivvy bag and a fairly thin sleeping bag and was very comfortable under a tarp
