Elderberry and blackberry wine

I'm planning to try and make some of the stuff this year. Any helpful advice?

Also, I might try some elderberry cordial.

I've made a straight wine by mixing the two berries before - which usually turns out very nicely.

My usual plan for Elderberries is to make spiced elderberry wine, which turns out like a rich Christmas port...

Use a good yeast,ask at a home brew shop you want one with a high alcohol tolerance I used a burgundy in damson wine and ended up with a strong full bodied port type wine, good luck.
