May be interested but am a tad confused about the description of the handle (or lack of). Could you explain further please?

this model came without a handle i had someone weld on stays all it needs is a wire coat hanger and a bit of dowel

Still confused. Does this now accommodate a handle but didn't before? If it now does accommodate a handle, is there a reason one isn't supplied? Sorry to sound daft if this is obvious.
