dutch oven

You actually don't need a dutch oven if you use the right backpacking pot. Check out the thread I started here:

I tried this today and had great success with a regular 4 cup aluminum pot. You might find this informative. Someone here at BushcraftUK had the brilliant idea for the hinge pot stand...outstanding idea...but I just used sockets from my socket wrench set for the three "dutch oven" legs. Worked like a charm...just like my big cast iron dutch ovens, only at a fraction of the weight!

I got the 10" ally one from Lurch

Cracking bit of kit, a bit easier to look after than cast and just big enough to make a stew for four of us.

just some advise ask them to check them before they send as i orders 2 last year from extregb and both of them came cracked so i had to send them back. and still havnt got the money back then i orders 2 from greenmanbushcraft and 1 of those came cracked. from both shops on the box's of the ovens they all came from http://www.canvastentshop.co.uk/coo...rod_138.html?gclid=CLntqe3BoqYCFQse4QodWT4kZg. so could just cut out the middle man.
