dutch bivy

Hi all looks like I will be needing a bivy or hammock soon as got a night out in the woods planned. Been looking at bivy bags this one looks quite well made and looks like would be up to the job

They're fine Ben, or try one of the Tennier Ind (US army) bags with side zip,even easier to get in and out of.

I've got a belgian seyntex one from MM for 7 quid. Great bag, i've modded it by chopping it down the middle and velcroing it to me sleeping bag

Happy days fella, they are supposed to be the dogs. The only thing with bivvi bags are they are a royal pain in the bum to wriggle in and out of. Thats why i like the dutch ones as they have a centre opening with a big velcro flap over it. Saying that though i like mostly Dutch and Swiss surplus compared to uk issue anyway. Its a matter of personal taste i suppose.
