And here is the latest of my new blades. It´s a stick tang blade made of UHB15LM carbon steel, 4,2mm so it´s a sturdy piece. 3 pieces of 2mm brass, alt. ivory and a nice piece of natural birch root that I bark colored to lift the beautiful grain that was hidden inside the wood.
I call this knife "Morning Light".

I bet that's stunning to turn in the light, great work matey! Karl-Erik, would you be able to explain how you bark colour the wood? it's something id like to try on one soon.

Unbelievable finish on that handle! The blade looks very nice too but the guard is not for me (maybe I'm just boring).
