Oh gawd...it looks incredibly cheap and a 52hrc, yikes! (I think I'd have better luck with a convenience store chinese knock-off of some sort) Thanks for the info Neiltoo, but I think I'll add the Douk Douk to my list of knives not to buy.

Opinels are cheap. So are SAKs. Yet they're good.
Maybe at RC 52 isn't ideal, but if they've sold in their thousands they're probably doing something right. I'd go for one of those rather than the Chinese nock-off as it probably has better provenance.
Still, I've never tried one (and this is the first I've heard of them), but don't pooh-pooh them just because they look cheap and cheerful.

No, I suppose you're right Mark. I don't have the right to pooh-pooh anything until I'm holding it in my hands.
