I do tend to be a bit abrupt. There's such a lot to do... Sorry.

I've had to deal with a tremendous amount of littering, theft, mindless damage and deliberate, really nasty vandalism in woodland (as well as kids doing drugs, as someone else mentioned). Some of the things that the little blighters do would take your breath away. My view has always been Leave No Trace. I guess that's been reinforced by experience and I suppose it's a sore point. Sorry again.

I like to leave no trace im lucky to have the use of a small wood with the farmers agreement as long as i leave it clear, he dose not want to encourage local teens in there starting fires and leaving bottles and rubbish. As with any where you camp leave it as you found it or cleaner in some cases

Leave no trace is my policy. Its all too hard to come across a piece of land, where there are no traces of earlier visitors. Sadly I see more and more dilapidated shelters, with the inevitable fire scars , beer bottles, litter and damaged trees. Frankly, it does my head in.
