DIY knife#2

Hi I want to show my #2 DIY knife.

Material used:
Blade: Brisa Lauri PT 95mm
Pins: brass threathed bar 2mm diametre.
Landyard:brass tube
Slaves: nylon sheets from hardware store.
Contact: Araldite normal two compoments

Tool:
Dremmel
Handsaw
Handpress vices
Process:
Sorry I forget to make pics.
1.I cut the slaves rought shape
2.I cut the tang blade two centimetres shorter so the tang goes near 2/3 handle lengh.
3.Using Dremmel machine I carved only in one slave the tang figure, so is going to be stronger becouse the join in out of the tang sheet.(handle desing is like a mortised tang in one slave).
4.I drilled the holes for pin and landyar.
5.Fix slave+blade+pins+landyard tube with epoxi all pressed with handpress vices. and 24h rest time.
I used threathed pins becouse the fix with cement is better, more contact surface.
6.Cut the pins and tube and grind the handle to wished shape.
I´m happy with the resoult and perhaps I reshaped the handle if it´s not confortable in the field.
I want to try how strong this mortised handle is when batoming.

Good job, cant help but be impressed by someone making thier own gear, especially something as ambitious as a knife :You_Rock_

Hi here is the final resoult.
I have reprofiled the handle and made DIY kydex shealth (ODS supplier).
I´m waiting my Buscraft Allan Blade so till them I made my own version :yikes:
