I'm heading out for an overnighter on Derwentwater on Saturday if anyone would like to join me.

The forecast isn't great, but I've been out in much worse.

Short notice I'm afraid, but I've had a mix up over dates ( I thought I was going out next weekend, my wife disagrees. She won ).

Cheers, Michael.

I had a great time Barney, it was all too brief though. I arrived in the dark on Saturday and was home again by lunchtime on Sunday, but I still managed a paddle, a campfire and BBQ, a few scoops and a night in my hammock.

Cheers, Michael.

Hi Michael, Did you try the Coccoon again?
Ian.

I didn't Ian. I'm going back to Loch Awe in April or May and I was trying to take the same sort of lightweight, reduced outfit that I'll be taking there, rather than taking the spare kitchen sink that I usually do on my local trips. I'm gonna rig my hammock and tarp up in the garden soon, so I'll try it then.

Cheers, Michael.
