Damascus belt axe

Hi!

This is my first attempt to make sandwich axe with damascus edge. Cheeks and poll are made from 1055 carbon steel - the edge and sides are from forged-in billet of 30 layer damascus. Damascus billet is made by me Haft is from curly sycamore wood. It has a lot of stipes that are making cool 3d effect in real life - couldn't get that on the photos. It has a leather edge cover.
