Custom Damascus Axe Head Wanted (from UK maker)

Suggestions please for commissioning a custom/hand-forged axe with Damascus head here in the UK. I’ve checked out a couple of threads but the only link I’ve found requires a Swedish translator. I’m looking for something no larger that the Gransfor “hunter”.

The other aspect is I cannot wait 24 or even 12 months for the likes of Alan Wood to do it even were he willing.

You could talk to Tod at Tods stuff
I've dealt with him as TraditionalMaterials and his damascus blades look the dogs undercarriage.

I know of a few guys (2 actually but there are more) over at BB that can do that but I am not sure if they would. You will have to ask them

I know two custom axe smiths who work in damascus, both are swedish I'm afraid

One is Göran Enocksson who sadly doesn't speak English - he forged the blade in that knife of mine you liked Klenchblaize. When I was chatting with him Magnus was kind enough to interpret

The other guy whose work is stunning is cegga. He speaks good English and is found hanging out on OMF with a few of us axe junkies

I always say this but over on www.britishblades.com there are loads of guys who are extremely talented who im sure can knock up something like this quickly and beautifully finished for a great price.
