Curing Rabbit Pelts

Hi, I was wondering what method people use for curing rabbit skins. I have done it to a baby rabbit before by just scraping off the skin and then covering in salt for like a week.

Is this something I can do for a full size rabbit? I have two that have been paunched and ready to do!

So I've gotta go away for a couple of days. Is it ok to freeze them and do the fleshing and that when I thaw them out?
