What your advise single or 2 sided?

I'd go for 1 sided, I find them easier to use.

Btw Tamarack have got a couple of nice ones made by Ben Orford, a small spoon one and an Indian one (like wot Mr Mears used to carve his padels)!
Quite pricey but good quality.

Being a lefty,I went for a cheap two sided knife.No complaints at the price.

If you are learning to use one a single is probably safer, but if you are left handed it may be worth getting the double instead.

Remember that single or double sided - they come in left and right hand models.
