I'm after a safety knife to attach to a bouyancy aid that will only be used in emrgencies.

I cant tell this from the picture but is that a proper sheath (meaning the knife goes in it) or is the "sheath" something that the knife clips to leaving the blade exposed?. I hope that makes sense.

The knife sits on top of the "sheath" rather than going into a sheath
You slide the knife away from the clip and lift it of the pin which is through the hole in the handle

Thanks, Not quite what I was looking for without modding the sheath with tape somehow. Shame though, interesting looking thing especially for the price.

Thanks anyway.

For what your going to use it for i'd consider a serrated edge.
I carry a fully serrated edge spyderco in a little kydex sheath on my life jacket, it's only use is to be there if i need it to cut rope etc.
