Pelle Holmberg in his "Svenska Bärboken" lists a Lingonberry ketchup, and I just tested this with cranberries. It turned out quite nice.
Recipie
3 dl | Cranberries |
2 dl | Water |
1 dl | Sugar |
1 | Onion (chopped) |
Habanero | |
Ancho chillies | |
1-2 tbs | Maple syrup |
Simmer everything in a pot (add chillies to taste and preference) for 5-10 minutes. Mix until smooth and pour into a jar. Should keep for a few weeks if keept cool.
