I'm thinking of doing a bit of airgunning this year and really should have public liability insurance. To join the CA is £60 a year, BASC £66 - is there an advantage of one over the other?

I notice on the CA site that if you join as a syndicate (7 people or more) you pay £22 for the first year, £44 after that - anyone interested in forming a syndicate?

Dont go with BASA (British Airgun Shooters' Association) They are cheap but have a shocking reputation.
CCC seem to be well regarded http://www.ccc3.org.uk/home
No conection just going by what I have heard.

I have been with BASC for years now. Always send what they say they will send but not the cheapest.

SACS has a similarly good reputation. Appear to offer value for money.

Not heard anyonespeak about the CA insurance so can't comment.

I agree with the basc comment. They are great and the advice and help I've had from them is worth the money alone. I'd go with them andy time, and have for years...

I support BASC ...its not abut money. Its about who represents your views. Or just buy insurance.

I joined BASC to support what they do with the very long view on looking at getting my FAC. They do quite a lot round my area and that's a good thing. I get stuff through the post all the time from them too, and it's all very interesting.
