cotton wool and Vasoline

I make my own tampons injected with Vaseline. They are very energy dense and burn for ever. Highly recommended.

One method I've used is to melt some vasaline in a double boiler (pan over hot water), dip the cotton wool balls in the melted PJ, then squeeze them out in a Garlic Press.
A bit OTT, but I had time on my hands...

A handy way to store it is in a drinking straw.
The wide bore ones from fast food joints are best.
Fill them with the CWV mix and heat seal the ends.
Ideal for your pocket survival kit, plus the plastic straw burns hot.

Is it just me who would feel strange buying vaseline?

just tell em its for lubing the screw thred on you homebrew barrel (its what the book recomended) or just get yer mam to buy it for you, i did lol

Daft question, how do I mix these two together and use them?

In my mind, it's just a case of smear the vasoline onto the cotton wool and use a fire steel to get going
