OK, sorry for the delay, it's been a busy few days!
Without further ado, the results. it's been a tough one because the stories have been both interesting and informative and choosing winners difficult. Thanks to all that entered!
Here are the winners:
1st place - Maddave. Heck of a story, thanks for sharing it.
2nd place - Motorbike Man. Lucky escape there!
I think that both of these tales should make us think about planning for the worst not just when we expect to go into it, but at any time.
