Withdrawn Competition Cutter

I have sale a competition cutter which I used when Longstrider of the BB parish ran the cutting competitions. It has a 10inch blade and a 5 inch handle. it has no makers name on it and I can’t remember who I purchased it from but I believe the handle grin is linen micarta.
4mm wide it comes with a leather sheath. It would be a great camp knife.

Morning Graham, no I can’t remember the steel type or who made it, all I can say it held up well i used in competitions and as you can see the blade is in excellent condition.

It’s a well made piece and I’m certain it’s someone we all know . Guy made me one as well but I’ll be keeping that one.

Yes I agree it does look like a Moletta but all the Moletta’s I have had or own are named and signed.

Opening both pics and comparing, Dave’s has a harder angle at the tip. But the construction looks spot on the same.

It could be Giedymin? He uses same handle construction and was making a lot of choppers from that BB era. He didn't have a makers mark when he first stared selling. I bought one of his modern bowies around that time
