looking for something in a frontier style - any maker considered dont even mind a doer-upper if the price is right

hi I collect compasses and would really like one of these but I am just wondering did you purchase the wrist compass in the us. or was it purchased over here..
the reason I ask is as you probably know each one is calibrated to a us zip code or if its an outside us model is it calibrated to us ie northern hemisphere!!!
any help much appreciated..
