Yeah its fine in hay - mildly toxic to some stock when green.

I applaud the "no chemicals" - we did to start with though - the damned stuff shades out grass and spreads - our little field was infested with it.

I howk it out with a tack lifter. You follow the runners and it's absolutely astonishing how much of it there can be smothering everything else in the grass :sigh:

Pretty wee flowers, but not good grazing and really not good allowed to spread into any cultivated areas. Inedible, unlike the wild strawberries which spread themselves around in a similar fashion :)
