Coltsfoot Wine

Went out last weekend and collected some coltsfoot flowers to make some wine. Never made this one before so I'm really interested in how it turns out. If it's anything like all the other wild wines I have made it should be pretty good.

I've also got some birch sap wine on the go which Yarrow helped me to collect (first time for this wine as well). Looks like this year will be spent under the influence

do alot of colts foot grow all over your area,here in england their very localised..?

They seem to be everywhere here. I can always find them on the edges of woodland paths. We have quite a few quarries dotted about here (old ones are turned into lakes and wildlife areas) they seem to like that type of sandy soil and the place is covered in them, a true sea of yellow.
