Hi all. I have the gauze version, but I'm sure when I was looking into buying a tiny lantern, Coleman also did one the same with frosted glass. I can't find one anywhere, so any help mightily appreciated.

I'm pretty sure he's bang on the money. I was in the same boat, I already had a half decent frosted glass and so, ddecided against treating myself to an F1 glass globed F1. When my old lantern died I went looking for the F1 again, only to find that they were making them with the gauze thing instead.

(*off topic* Other than wanting a smaller one with a glass globe, how do you rate the gauzed F1? *off topic*)

After a mooch about ... it could be that they rebranded their Peak 1 Micro-lantern as the F1 and then replaced the glass with the metal gauze :dunno:
