Where did you get a Carbon V model in this day and age?
It is a great steel

I just got lucky John. I've had it a while with the coating and handle stripped. Hopefully it'll have some soul after I'm done!

I shortened mine and reground it, handled it in Oak (adapted Henry Rabbet method) and made a leather sheath ....
