As above but if there were nout else i would munch awayNo perch would not be a table (pan) fish. Most people fishing for coarse fish would fish catch and release but there are always the exceptions. Unlike with yourselves our sea specifies are not called game species but a number of them would be table fish when caught.
I remember when I was there seeing tv shows documenting some rural areas where the custom was to catch young eels (an inch or so long) and frying them whole. Am I remembering that correctly?You can buy Bream, Carp & Pike in Tesco on the fish counter and Eels have been eaten for a long time, ie jellied Eels
