I use the term mint as these books have no creases or marks on them.
As items get taken I will update this page.

Coming up is a large collection of Collins Field Guides covering everything from the caterpillars of British Butterflies & Moths to the normal guides on plants etc. I have not had a chance to collate them yet. Also if anyone is in the process of learning a language or wants to PM me as Roy was a translator and had a fascination with language and has hundreds of books from beginners to advanced in so many languages.

Thanks

David

David - If you're looking for a ball park price for the RM book, I paid £35+P&P for one last month from Amazon.

Dave I have pulled this for the minute, I have sent you a PM explaining why, but you have Arctic Parkas and Arctic warfare clothing in there (the fleece lined hat and the smock that you don't think is issue), they worth a lot more than you are selling them for.

A mate of mine could probably ID the windproof smock that you are not familiar with (if it is what I think it is then it may be as rare as hen's teeth or rocking horse poo).

Wouldn't mind the WW2 smock myself...I do like that cammo pattern

Yeah that's one of the reasons that I pulled this one Mark.

Stuart also dropped Dave a line about it. It's either a repro of the original WW2 SAS smock or it is one. If it is one then Dave is selling himself short, I am waiting for one of the guys at Endicott's to get back to me as he is pretty clued up on these things.

If it's an original then it should really be properly valued, if it's a reproduction then it's worth about £40, either way I would prefer Dave to get the money for it as with the Arctic Smock as they don't make that type any more.

I am looking into the value of some of the other bits as well.

This post is back in the public domain, thanks to Leon & Stuart for helping me understand what my father-in-laws possessions are worth, it means I will get the best return for his widow.

Anyway, as I'm currently working out of Stockholm the turn around of items is slow but if your interested let me know, no payment required until I can post.

Part 2 will be hitting a screen near you soon, interesting list of field guides and Natural History books.
