Cleaning up after cooking

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Tiny bit of water, minuscule amount of fairy liquid and a scouring pad.

If backpacking and water is short then non fragranced baby wipes work really well. Tesco value wipes 80 in a pack 25p on offer, 50p normal price.

Estrogeon over-load. enjoy your man boobs!

lubo, you mean oestrogen obviously, but the bags I use are Mylar (which if I remember correctly contain only up to a maximum of 20% of the BPA found in regular freezer bags, boil-in-bags etc), my water is tap water carried in Siggs and not Nalgene or PET so for the sake of a few weekends a year I'll hopefully manage to get some sleep without worrying that by the time I reach my 50th birthday I won't look like Katie Price :)

Baby wipes and a beer towel sorts it for me. Always take small bag for the rubbish so don't use degradable ones.

if no water I scoure with sand to remove scraps and wipe , when its time reuse the pan I heat it hot before cooking in it or boil a small amount of water in it before use .
Twodogs

Plus one for this method. No extras required and it worked for cowboys with their dutchies!
