Christmas Day Paracord Craft - Dog Lead

After a hectic Christmas Day I thought I would make a paracord lead for my new Bushcraft Buddy (3 month old Cairn Terrier)

Its about 5'6" long and made using olive green and tan. I like it and am quite happy with the result.

Cairns are great. We had one for years. Big man personality, wee man body ! Nice lead too.

Cairn Terriers are the best dogs in the world. We have had 5 in a row. Goes walking, bushcraft, canoeing +++ Great lead and the colours will match the dog I wouldn't wonder

I know we got the Cairn to accompany the Westie, he's getting on a bit though. Up to now she is walking perfectly and seems to love being out just walking which is good. Cant wait to get her out BC'ing for the first time

Nice lead... how many strands of cord did you use to braid it?

Its a 4 strand braid so I used two lengths (1 of each colour)


I decided to go the twisted pattern route as opposed to having the two different colours going up the sides
