Hi!
I am in the market for a rather lightweight rectangular sleeping bag with hood to add to my Nordisk Laga HP rectangular down sleeping bag if the temperature is lower than the Laga will allow... (http://www.amazon.de/Nordisk-Deckenschlafsack-LAGA-185-links/dp/B004QYJZ8Y) The description says width is 86 cm, but 76 cm is correct.
As the Laga is 76 cm wide I will need a bag that is at least 80 cm wide, better would be 85 cm, so I started looking and came to the Snugpak Jungle bag, but it is also only 75 cm wide, so too small.
Then I found the Chinook sleeping bag which seems to be perfect (http://www.scouttech.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=479), but I have not seen any experiences with Chinook bags at all anywhere, so perhaps somebody here can help?
Or ist there any sleeping bag I missed in my research? It should be lightweight (about more or less 1 kg), rectangular, with hood, length about 220 to 230 cm and width at least 80 cm, better would be 85 or 90 cm. And the zip has to be on the left side...
I know that the combination is a bit on the heavy side, but as I will use it as canoe tripping combo it does not matter so much. And the comfort is just fine...
Thank you for your input
Heinz
