Chicken of the Woods, A real treat for my dinner this evening

On the Thames towpath in East Oxford on the Edge of the City. What a treat!

Lightly fried in butter, a bit of garlic and some ground pepper. Yum!

saw something very similar whilst out walking the dog the other morning - now i know it may be edible i'll investigate a little closer next time!
