BR, your hot chocolate is exactly the kind of driver that's needed to build a family cook book.
All the kid-tested and kid-approved food that you can remember. I did it so it has to be possible!

Pumpkin Spice here seems to be cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves, ginger and at least one other thing
that I cannot name. Coffee? Chocolate/cocoa? I can't figure it out.

When I was a student, I used to make a cherry liquor from the juice/ syrup that was in the glass jars of Jugoslavian cherry conserves.
70% medical Ethanol, the juice/syrup, a bit more sugar.

Did taste good!

It is incredible how close the British cuisine is to the American. Turkey, Cranberries, various pumpkin preparations ......

Last year I made apple pie vodka. It was a great hit. Just chopped up a couple of nice apples and added a cinnamon stick. Easy one to start with if you fancy starting to make flavoured spirits. You could add cloves instead of cinnamon but I'm not a fan of cloves myself.you'd only need a couple of cloves I'd imagine.

I assembled my personal/family cookbook for my kids, in particular.
All the things I cooked for them as they grew up. My 2" stack of recipe cards into MSWord.
They each got a book as they flew off to Uni.

Woodygirl: I agree: go easy on the cloves, one or two at the most.
I have a BBQ rub recipe with espresso coffee in it. One Keurig pod.
You only know it's in there if I bring it up at the meal!

I'll have the whiskey on the rocks AND a very large slice of the apple pie.

My office does not smell ‘dentists office’.
I have removed everything that contributes to that specific aroma.

Except the smell of fear... :)

Cloves smell like Eugenol.

Sometimes a few of the cherry stones are c4u#hed and left 5o macerate.
Brings one more taste sensation to the drink,
