I'd go for the Vango. A slightly smarter one from Vango is on the Outdoor Kit website for £41.99,
http://www.outdoorkit.co.uk/product.php?product_id=2563 and although I can't find any reviews (other the happy bloke on the Argos website), Vango is generally good reasonably priced kit, and this site
http://www.glasgowscoutshop.com/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_copy_of_Rucksacks_40___85_Ltrs.html - has the Vango Contour 50 + 10 (which is
very similar but a bit smaller) and a pretty good description of the spec. If your just starting out, its difficult to go wrong at this price.
As for the MW pack, Andyxedos has it dead right - no hard info, just lots of guff. Fortunately its out of stock. I particularly like the idea that 'The Puma rucksack is available in a combination of black, charcoal and grey colours making it ideal for men and women.' I'm not sure what this actually means (no girly colours, so its alright for anyone?), but I know that my 75L pack is totally unsuitable for my wife, which is why they make large packs especially for women. This is really bad advice, but the description does go on to say lots about how many straps and pockets it has - so thats all right then!
'A lid bungy system helps you to hoist the bag up when needs be' - ***? ; 'The Puma bag has the fundamental rain cover; always a necessity when progressing through countries with unpredictable and varied climates' - I know Wales can be a bit wet at times, but most of us survive without one.
